Performance Manufacturing to Present Racing on Thursday Nights
RANSOMVILLE, NY (February 25, 2024) Performance Manufacturing has been a top name in go-kart racing for years and now, will be presenting sponsor of the Thursday night go-kart racing program at the Ransomville Kart Track (Little R). As part of their sponsorship, there will be a raffle for a new kart chassis.
Besides being a leader in precision machining and fabricating, Performance Manufacturing has developed its own line of go-kart parts and their own kart chassis. Pursuing their interest in the sport, partners Jody Herriven and Tim Werth designed and produced their first karting components within the company’s first year.
Including Slack Chassis, thousands of parts and products has been manufactured out of their facility in Middleport, NY. Performance Manufacturing has developed into an industry leader as the largest supplier of racing go-kart parts in the United States. They also assist their customers with design and development of specific products for their individual needs.

There will also be new and returning divisional sponsors for the Performance Manufacturing Karting Series. Planter Box Direct will be the new divisional sponsor for the Jr 1 division, while Bud’s Apple Pie is the new Jr 2 class sponsor and Reid’s Drive In will be sponsoring the Novice division. Returning sponsors include Frontier Auto Wrecking (Jr 3), Fisher’s Auto Repair (Sr. Lites), and Mike Barry Motors (Sr. Heavy).
The 2024 season at the Little R will get underway on Sunday, May 5 with the new drivers school and then open practice. Test, Tune, and Time night will take place on May 9, with the 2024 season opener taking place on Thursday, May 16.
