Mateo Hope Street Stock King of the Hill, Big Block/Small Block Modified Shootout This Friday Night
RANSOMVILLE, NY (September 5, 2022) Labatt and Bailey Brothers Landscape and Snow Removal will present the Mateo Hope Street Stock King of the Hill this Friday night at the Ransomville Speedway. The racing card will also feature a $2,000 to win Big Block/Small Block Shootout, plus a Sportsman/Novice Shootout, and the final points race of the season for the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks.
The Mateo Hope Street Stock King of the Hill is in honor and memory of Mateo Hope. Mateo lived and breathed racing, and behind the efforts of Curt Sherwood, the event is growing bigger and bigger each year. Nearly $5,000 in lap money and contingencies will be handed out to the drivers. Also on the card will be a $2,000 to win Big Block/Small Block Modified Shootout, plus a Sportsman/Novice Shootout, and the final points race of the season for the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks. Entering the final points night for the Mini Stocks, Cole Susice from Ransomville, NY has a four-point lead over Dave Dussault from Niagara Falls, NY, and a 12-point lead on Cheektowaga, NY’s Ryan Plante.

Pit gates will open at 5 pm, grandstands at 6 pm, and racing will get underway at 7:15 pm. Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, $17 for seniors (60 +) and students (12-17), and kids 11 and under are admitted FREE. Pit admission is $35 for members and $40 for non-members. Fans can catch the entire racing program Friday night on Dirt Track Digest TV if they cannot attend in person.
