Season Championships and Demo Derby This Friday Night
RANSOMVILLE, NY (August 29, 2022) This coming Friday night, Ransomville Speedway will host the final points night of the season for the Krown Undercoating Modifieds, Investors Service Sportsman, KiPo Motors Street Stocks, and Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman. The Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks will also be in action, with their season championship night taking place on Friday, September 9. Niagara Frontier Publications and SANY New York will be sponsoring the night and Triple T Towing will present the Demo Derby.
Mat Williamson from St. Catharines, Ontario has a 52-point lead over Ryan Susice in the Krown Undercoating Modifieds. Pete Bicknell is just four points behind Susice. The Investor’s Service Sportsman points chase comes down to a two-horse race, Derek Wagner from Middleport, and Brett Senek from Ransomville. Entering Friday night, Wagner has a four-point lead over Senek, who is the three-time and reigning track champion. In the KiPo Motors Street Stocks, Josh Pangrazio from Oakfield, NY has a 62-point lead over Wheatfield, NY’s Pete Stefanski. The Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman title is up for grabs, with Colby Adamczak from Akron, NY leading Ridgeway, Ontario’s Noah Mamo by just six points. Entering the night in the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks, Cole Susice from Ransomville and Dave Dussault from Niagara Falls, NY are tied on top of the point standings.

DEMOLITION DERBY RULES
- Any 4- or 6-Cylinder Car (If car is AWD, MUST remove one driveshaft)
- Doors can be welded, chained, or wired
- Trunk lids can be welded, chained, or wired closed
- NO pre-bending of cars
- Pre run cars are allowed (NO EXTRA BENDING)
- Cars MUST have original bumpers, no full-size bumpers allowed
- MANDATORY - BAR or ratchet strap behind driver’s seat
- Battery can be relocated on passenger front floor
- Fuel tank can be moved inside vehicle but MUST be covered
- Battery + Fuel Tank MUST be secured. NO movement
- Donut spares are allowed
- NO studded tires allowed
- NO reinforcement of car
- Driver door MUST be painted Yellow with number only
- Roof Flags with car number ONLY
Pit gates will open at 5:00 pm with grandstands opening at 6:00 pm and racing will begin at 7:15 pm. Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, $17 for seniors (60 +) and students (12-17), and kids 11 and under are admitted FREE. Pit admission is $35 for members and $40 for non-members. Fans can catch the entire racing program Friday night on Dirt Track Digest TV if they cannot attend in person.
