Ransomville Speedway
Daul, Anstett, Pollow, Schulz, Paonessa, Colon Jr, and Schumacher Collect Wins at Little R
RANSOMVILLE, NY (May 20, 2021) Week two of the SANY Go-Karts at the “Little R” saw exciting finishes from several classes on Thursday night at the Ransomville Speedway. Ashley Daul picked up the win in the Finish Line Auto Detail Senior Heavy. Jeff Anstett picked up his second win of the season in the Fisher’s Automotive Senior Lites. Anthony Pollow is two-for-two in the Fitzgibbon Contracting and Construction Junior 3. Jacob Schulz won his second in a row in the SJE Shocks Junior 2. Giovanni Paonessa won his second feature of the season in the Slack Karts Junior 1. Kenneth Colon Jr and Cole Schumacher won their first Just Signs & Designs Novice feature.
Jayme Stone had the pole position and would hold off the advances of Jeff Anstett early on in the feature event for the Finish Line Auto Detail Senior Heavy. On the white flag lap, the leaders would get together to bring out the caution. The final lap would see Ashley Daul hold off Mike Seefeldt to score the win.
Jeff Anstett took home from the hole-shot in the feature event for the Fisher’s Automotive Senior Lites. Anstett would lead all 15 laps to score the win over Jayme Stone.
Anthony Pollow led from the start of the main event for the Fitzgibbon Contracting and Construction Junior 3. Pollow would lead all 15 laps to pick up the win, his second of the season.
Abigail Fisher led from her pole position in the feature event for the SJE Shocks Junior 2. Fisher would lead until past the halfway mark when Jacob Schulz would take the lead with Mason Hanel taking over second. Schulz would hang on to score the win.
Giovanni Paonessa would take the lead away from Jayden Tomaino early on in the feature event for the Slack Karts Junior 1. Paonessa would go on to pick up the win as he held off Tomaino.
Aideen Rusnock led from the drop of the green in the first feature for the Just Signs & Designs Novice. Kenneth Colon Jr took the lead heading the line and would steal the win over Rusnock. In the second feature, Ryan Barry had the pole position. Cole Schumacher would take the lead away early, with Jackson Bonesky quickly taking over second place. Bonesky would take the lead off a late-race restart but Schumacher passed him back coming off turn four to get the win.
The ”Little R” will return to action on Thursday, May 27 for a full card of SANY New York Go-Kart racing. As always, free grandstand admission to watch the future stars in action on the 1/16th-mile “Little R”.
