Ransomville Speedway Profile: Robbie Johnston
Starting his fifth season in 2020, Robbie Johnston will take the green in the 33J Modified! In the 2019 season, Johnston had nine top 10 finishes, six of them being in the top 5. Although he says that the Sportsman class competition is “fun to race with” and that “a lot of them can put on some good battles”, Johnston and his team made the decision that he is ready to move up to the Modified class, which are the “best guys in the business” as he says. This 18 year old from Lockport, NY has big goals and intends to place top 10 in the Modified Class points and win the Rookie of the Year award! Johnston and his team wouldn’t be able to do it without their sponsors and they would like to thank Innovative Auto, Buffalo Spinal Surgery, Transit Car Wash & Express Lube for their generous support in preparation for the upcoming season. Other than his sponsors, Johnston would also like to thank his dad, stepmom, nana, papa, and “anyone else who has given a hand or a buck along the way”.
