Ransomville Speedway

Ransomville Speedway Profile: Zach George

This driver spotlight is on Zach George. This previous Little R go kart dominator turned into a fierce novice sportsman competitor in late 2016 after getting some seat time in a street stock during the start of the 2016 season. He is continually growing as this year he will be wheeling the Wolfe Pack Racing #80x sportsman at Ransomville Speedway in 2020. He may be young but his goals are set to compete with the big guys to progress and learn more about left side set ups and coil over shocks. George is also aiming for “a top 3 in points and at least 3 wins” and says his team is motivated by “the desire to be the best”. Zach has come from a racing family and he says that being able to go out onto the track and race with his dad (Scott George) has been the best memory he has had so far. Other than his dad, George looks up to the 2019 modified track champion, Erick Rudolph, because of his ability to get a car to stick anywhere on the track. George and Wolfe Pack Racing plan to attend Ransomville Speedway every Friday this upcoming season. George and his team would like to thank Scotty’s Half A$$ Bumper Service, Scott Stopa Attorney and Law, Stirling Lubricants and Erick Rudolph Shock Tuning for their support in the 2020 season. He would like to also thank his parents, as well as Scott and Donelle Wolfe for everything they are doing for Zach so he can “have a rocket for a car this year”

Q&A with Zach George:

What is your typical Ransomville Speedway concession stand order?

“My typical order from the concession stands at Ransomville is pizza logs and a few hamburgers with an iced tea to wash it down”

Do you have a race day tradition?

“I stop and get a slice of chicken wing pizza from Crosby’s”

Do you drive on the streets like you do in your race car?

“I don’t drive in the streets like I do the race car because there is no roll cage.”

What do you think about when you're in the race car?

“Once my helmet goes on my mind goes blank and I’m not thinking about a single thing. Just me, the car, and the track.”
