KIDS CAR RIDES PART OF THE FUN THIS FRIDAY AT THE BIG R

RANSOMVILLE, N.Y. (June 30, 2019) - Get your holiday weekend going this Friday night at Ransomville Speedway as Regional Haulage presents a full card of racing, including the Ransomville/Genesee Mini Stock Series plus kids rides.

The first 100 kids that come through the grandstand gate will receive a wristband that will allow them to get a ride in a real Ransomville Speedway race car prior to the racing program at 7:15 pm.

The Krown Undercoating 358 Modified division has been putting on phenomenal racing through their first four events of the season. Side-by-side battles and star-studded field of weekly drivers have made for a great show for the fans in the stands.

Erick Rudolph won the first three features of the season, but had his win streak snapped this past Friday when Mike Bowman of St. Catharines, Ontario scored his first ever Modified win at the “Big R”. Rudolph, Bowman and Mat Williamson are the only three drivers in the division with top five finishes in every race so far in 2019.

This Friday is the fifth race of the Ransomville/Genesee Mini Stock Series. Two drivers that are standing out in the Mini Stock divisions at both tracks early this season are Ransomville’s own Ashley Blech and Cole Susice. Blech and Susice are the only two drivers that are in the top five in the points standings at both tracks, with Blech leading the Mini Stock points at Genesee. The series has produced three different winners with the fourth taking place July 4 at Genesee.

The Investors Service Sportsman, Ki-Po Chevrolet Street Stocks and Stevenson’s Hardware Novice Sportsman will also be in action this Friday night.

Pit gates will open at 5 p.m. with grandstands opening at 6 p.m. Racing starts at 7:15 p.m. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and students (ages 13-17 with valid school ID), $8 for children ages 9-12 and kids 8 and under are free. Pit admission is $27 for member, $32 for non-member.

Owned and operated by the Rizzardo family, Regional Haulage has been a supporter of the Ransomville Speedway for several generations. Regional Haulage, located in Jordan Station, Ontario, is a licensed and bonded freight shipping and trucking company. Regional Haulage can be contacted by phone at (905) 562-3001.
