Ransomville finalizes 2019 Kart Rules Package - Burris to Sponsor NYDKS Reunion Money Race
Ransomville Speedway is thrilled to welcome back Burris Tires as the official tire of Thursday night karting. In addition to being a big part of the Thursday evening program, Ransomville Speedway will be raffling off a set of Burris Tires per class for each money race on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 for the NYDKS Reunion Race. “Ransomville has had a great relationship with Burris for many years” commented Ransomville General Manager Jenn Martin. “We are really thankful to Kurt Burris for stepping up and helping to make the NYDKS Reunion Race a really big event!”
For 2019, Ransomville Kart Officials have met and have made a few minor changes in an effort to align themselves with other area facilities. A few of the main points:
Novice will now utilize a 14 front driver, and 58 rear driver for gearing.
Novice and Junior I will now have the exact same weight at 250 lbs. This will give the Novice Karts a much smoother transition when moving to Junior I.
Senior Lites and Heavy’s will be allowed to utilize an open clutch for the 2019 season. Drum clutches will still be allowed. “Just about every senior class in NY State allows open clutches for adult classes” commented Ransomville Karting Race Director Many Baker. “We wanted to make it easier for our karters to travel and also welcome in invaders.”

For the 2019 season we are proud to welcome Bud’s and Salerno Snow Plowing and Landscaping to the series! We still have room for a few additional $200 sponsors for the series.
