JEFFERY MACHINE & SLACK KARTS TO CONTINUE THEIR SUPPORT OF THE “BIG & LITTLE R” IN 2019
RANSOMVILLE, N.Y. (December 19, 2018) - Ransomville Speedway is proud to welcome back Jeffery Machine and Performance Manufacturing/Slack Karts as marketing partners for the 2019 season. Both companies will return as division sponsors for the Thursday night Go-Kart program as well as major supporters of the Sid Jeffery Memorial.
Named in honor of the late car owner, Sid Jeffery, the third edition of the Sid Jeffery Memorial is scheduled for Friday, June 21, 2019. This year’s race will expand to include both the 358 Modifieds and Sportsman. The inaugural running of the race took place in 2017 for the Sportsman division with Matt Farnham picking up the win. The 358 Modifieds took part in last year’s Sid Jeffery Memorial as Ryan Susice came out on top of a talented field. On top of an increased purse, this event traditionally offers great bonuses and contingency awards for competitors.
Jeffery Performance will return as the presenting sponsor for the event with Manufacturing/Slack Karts taking part as a race night sponsor once again.
In addition to their support of one of the “Big R’s” biggest event of the season, Jeffery Machine will continue their title sponsorship of the Junior 2 go-kart division on Thursday nights at the “Little R”. Slack Karts will also return as the sponsor of Junior 1.
