BRP Modified Tour welcomes Ransomville Speedway

Marble, PA……..The BRP Modified Tour welcomes Ransomville Speedway to their racing schedule for the 2019 season.

The Atwal family purchased the speedway in Ransomville, NY in December of 2015, and have been operating it on a weekly basis during the summer months for the past three years. Their regular racing occurs on Friday nights during the summer, and features the Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds as their head line division.

The track has decided to add the BRP Modified Tour race to their King of the Hill weekend which will take place on September 13-14. The BRP Modified Tour will be in action on Saturday night and will find the Big Block Modifieds go head to head with the regular small block division at Ransomville.

Some of the regular drivers at Ransomville have ventured to run with the BRP Modified Tour over the past several years and two of the most familiar drivers, Erick Rudolph and Chad Brachmann are both previous BRP Modified Tour champions.

The BRP Modified Tour is thrilled to be making the trek north to Ransomville and at this point in our scheduling will find this the final point’s night for the series.

The BRP Big Block Modified racing series out of Western Pennsylvania is presented by Bicknell Racing Products, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic and Bazell Race Fuels. We run at tracks in Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and New York at this time. The series has ventured as far as Merrittville Speedway in Canada.

Other dates on the BRP Modified Tour schedule include: March 30 – Chiller Thriller at Michael’s Mercer Raceway, Mercer, PA; April 20 – Tyler County Speedway, Middlebourne, WV; May 3, June 28 and August 30 – Thunder Mountain Speedway, Knoxdale, PA; June 22 – The New Stateline Speedway, Busti, NY; July 6 – Lou Blaney Memorial at Sharon Speedway, Hartford, OH; July 11 - Expo Speedway, Trumball County Fairgrounds, Cortland, OH; and July 26- Lernerville Speedway. Our schedule is still a work in progress and we hope to have several other dates to announce in the near future.
